With a <strong>GIS<\/strong> you can query a database and get geographical information and, conversely, query a map and generate a database of information from it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>IES Solutions develops Territorial Information Systems<\/strong> taking care of every stage, from planning to implementation, providing software tools and data that may also be extracted from satellite measurements.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Our services are oriented to the use of web-based technologies, especially on non-commercial brand so that they are free from onerous licenses for the end user.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We work with MapServer, Google Maps API, and, on request, with commercial platforms.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We used MapServer in &#8220;<a title=\"Ponti Venezia\" href=\"https:\/\/ies.solutions\/en\/projects\/eu-project-environment\/venice-bridges\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ponti Venezia<\/a>&#8220;, a web-based solution that verifies the navigability conditions in Venice, in the presence of high and low tide.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Our <a title=\"JIXEL\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jixel.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">JIXEL<\/a> platform, the first web 2.0 interoperable control room, is focused on the use of the Google Maps APIs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Many of our <a href=\"https:\/\/ies.solutions\/en\/projects\/\">projects<\/a> focused on GIS and WebGIS solutions and make IES Solutions a qualified and reliable partner in this area.<\/p>\n<h1>Some Realizations<\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ies.solutions\/en\/products\/products-security\/control-room\/products-jixel\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-13078\" src=\"https:\/\/ies.solutions\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/Jixel_LOGO_FLAT_final-e1461325242539.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"56\" \/><\/a>Jixel is a suite of Cloud solutions for daily events and emergencies. Jixel implements an intuitive Command and Control System, which allows a standard-based, seamless sharing of information between the involved actors, being them either on the field or in different Control Rooms.<br \/>\nJixel offers real-time information using:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Geography, localisation, dynamic maps<\/li>\n<li>Information about personnel and resources within the area of the event (or approaching it), including the status of the resources and their use.<\/li>\n<li>Additional relevant information and the potential risks in the area <a title=\"Learn more\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jixel.eu\/web\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Learn more&#8230;<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ies.solutions\/en\/projects\/eu-project-environment\/projects-sarfire\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-7791\" title=\"Sarfire\" src=\"https:\/\/ies.solutions\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/logoSarfire.png\" alt=\"Sarfire\" width=\"200\" height=\"80\" \/><\/a>The main goal of the project is to develop an adaptive system for the automatic assessment of the susceptibility conditions and identification of areas at danger for fires. An important innovation of the project is to obtain an anthropic model of fire ignitions, both voluntary and involuntary, that represent the 99% of fire ignition in Italy and Europe. <a title=\"Learn more\" href=\"https:\/\/ies.solutions\/en\/projects\/eu-project-environment\/projects-sarfire\/\">Learn more&#8230;<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a title=\"MOS-Base\" href=\"https:\/\/ies.solutions\/en\/projects\/eu-project-environment\/projects-mos-base\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-7725\" title=\"MOS-Base\" src=\"https:\/\/ies.solutions\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/mosbase_thumb1.png\" alt=\"MOS-Base\" width=\"200\" height=\"63\" \/><\/a>The MOS-base system is designed for fire risk management and assessment of fire affected areas. MOS-base combines forest fires data from different sources and integrates and make them available in the Jixel web-based platform.
