After the experimental phase of the last year, when the interventions (in which more resources than necessary have been involved) have been reduced by 100%, and the arrival times have been reduced by 40% (with a burned area decreased proportionally) thanks to the more efficient use of resources, the software has been refined by allowing the inclusion of polygons and polylines, updated statistics and new security techniques.<\/p>\n<p>JIXEL for AIB Calabria 2009, used the last year to manage forest fires, has been awarded at ForumPA 2010.
