SLAB View is an ideal tool to predict hazardous zones and potential impacts of accidental releases.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3406\" title=\"SLAB View: tool to predict hazardous zones and potential impacts of accidental releases\" src=\"https:\/\/ies.solutions\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/slab_overview.jpg\" alt=\"SLAB View: tool to predict hazardous zones and potential impacts of accidental releases\" \/><br \/>\nSLAB View is able to show you how the release develops over time, as well as what the total footprint of the release will be.<\/p>\n<p>SLAB View can model continuous, finite duration, and instantaneous releases from four types of sources:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a ground-level evaporating pool<\/li>\n<li>an elevated horizontal jet<\/li>\n<li>a stack or elevated vertical jet<\/li>\n<li>and a ground-based instantaneous release<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The SLAB model was developed in the 1980s by Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), with financial support from the Department of Energy (DOE).
