18 April 2010 Brussels. Challenges and Issues in Health Care Information Management. The European FP7 Research Project DebugIT “Detecting and Eliminating Bacteria UsinG Information Technology” is delivering first results. China Intellectual Property Rights SME Helpdesk. ACTION ENT/CIP/10/B/N02C021 This call for proposals concerns the provision of China Intellectual Property Rights SME Helpdesk services 2011-1013. The China IPR SME Helpdesk provides support services for EU SMEs to protect and enforce their intellectual property rights in or relating to China. Call for Proposals for the Establishment of 3-year framework partnership agreements with EU-level NGO networks in the areas of social inclusion, non-discrimination, gender equality, the integration of persons with disabilities and the representation of the Roma. The Commission has published a Call for Proposals under PROGRESS, the EU’s employment and social solidarity programme, with a view to selecting – on the basis of a triennial strategic plan – EU-level NGO networks to work with the Commission and receive Union support on a stable and regular basis for the period 2011-2013. The Union support is not intended for specific projects, but to cover the costs inherent in the functioning of a European NGO network over a period that is equivalent to its accounting period. Nuovo fondo per l’internazionalizzazione a disposizione delle imprese. I nuovi strumenti di agevolazione finanziaria dell’internazionalizzazione presentati dal Vice Ministro dello Sviluppo Economico Adolfo D’Urso prevedono, fra l’altro, la riduzione del tasso agevolato applicabile, che passa dal 40% al 15% del tasso di riferimento, l’aumento dal 10% al 30% della quota erogabile a titolo di anticipo, e in determinati casi per le PMI uno scoperto di garanzia fino al 50% del finanziamento agevolato concesso. http://www.mincomes.it/news/news2010/aprile/cs140410.htm

Smartphone: boom per le applicazioni mobili con sei miliardi di download previsti nel 2010. La quantità di applicazioni disponibili e la frequenza dei download sono oggi i principali indicatori del futuro successo di una piattaforma smartphone. Crescono utenti del Mobile Money Transfer, i servizi per trasferire denaro attraverso il cellulare. La diffusione della telefonia mobile nei paesi in via di sviluppo, in particolare in Africa, ha portato alla nascita di un importante fenomeno, il Mobile Money Transfer, ovvero il trasferimento di denaro fra persone attraverso il cellulare. Il servizio attecchisce in particolare laddove la moneta elettronica e i conti bancari hanno scarsa diffusione e include sia i Mobile Remittance – trasferimento di denaro da un immigrato verso la propria famiglia che si trova nel Paese o nella città di origine – sia i trasferimenti P2p – semplici trasferimenti di denaro “person to person” per ricaricare Carte Prepagate o trasferire Credito telefonico. Gli Uffizi sbarcano sull’iPhone. Si chiama semplicemente Uffizi ed è una guida ufficiale a quello che con giusto orgoglio si autodefinisce “il più antico museo dell’Europa moderna”; la sua particolarità consiste nell’essere non cartacea ma un’applicazione per iPhone, iPod Touch e iPad. La COST NON finanzia la ricerca in quanto tale, ma sostiene attività di collegamento in rete quali riunioni, conferenze, scambi scientifici a breve termine e azioni a largo raggio. Attualmente ricevono sostegno più di 200 reti scientifiche (azioni).La COST invita a presentare proposte per azioni che contribuiscano allo sviluppo scientifico, tecnologico, economico, culturale e societale dell’Europa. Le proposte che svolgono un ruolo di precursore per altri programmi europei e/o che implicano le idee di ricercatori nella fase iniziale di ricerca sono particolarmente gradite.
