The Information Society Directorate General of the European Commission is organising this workshop to get input from all stakeholders : Member States, National Regulatory Authorities, operators and associations, including consumer associations. The aim is to prepare an intermediate report on the functioning of roaming in the EU to be presented by the Commission to the Council and the Parliament by the end of June 2010. Safer Internet call for proposals 2010.The call for proposals under the Safer Internet programme was launched on 26 February 2010 (OJ C48/07). Proposals may be submitted for the following actions: Safer Internet Centres (awareness centres, hotlines and helplines) in Portugal and Slovakia ; a thematic network to facilitate cooperation of law enforcement agencies in Europe and internationally ; a targeted project enhancing law enforcement agencies’ analysis of illegal material within peer-to-peer ; a knowledge enhancement project on internet addiction of minors ; a thematic network to stimulate and co-ordinate investigation into the use of new media by children. B-Bruxelles: Il futuro della base tecnologica di difesa aerospaziale militare europea (MilsAerospace 2035+)- 2010/S 41-059340. L’Agenzia europea per la difesa ha pubblicato una gara d’appalto per un piano d’azione per individuare le principali capacità industriali (tecnologie, processi e capacità) nella base tecnologica e industriale di difesa europea (EDTIB). Ciò includerà un piano d’attuazione che riguardi i prossimi 10 anni con azioni prioritarie per mantenere e sviluppare quei settori della base tecnologica e industriale di difesa aerospaziale europea d’importanza strategica. Dovranno essere identificate le capacità industriali richieste per il futuro. Il piano identificherà le necessità dei governi di azioni di collaborazione da soddisfare ora al fine di salvaguardare il futuro dell’industria con una prospettiva temporale che arriva al 2035. BeAware – Energy saving. Trials are being conducted for a new system to monitor the real-time energy consumption in the household. The data is measured, processed and displayed, showing users how much power is being consumed by various electrical appliances. Bringing grid computing to the people. Grid computing has changed the way people access and use information. But a team of European researchers has raised the bar by developing middleware – computer software that links software components or applications. POR FESR, modifiche al bando ‘Aerospazio’. Con la determinazione n. 328 del 16 febbraio 2010 la Regione Lazio ha parzialmente modificato l’Avviso pubblico per la presentazione di richieste di contributo relative alle Frontiere Tecnologiche del Distretto Tecnologico dell’Aerospazio. Il provvedimento, pubblicato sul Bollettino ufficiale della Regione Lazio n. 8 del 27 febbraio 2010 (parte terza), recepisce l’atto d’indirizzo relativo all’esclusione dai benefici del POR FESR delle imprese operanti nel settore degli armamenti. Nuova proroga dei termini di scadenza e modifiche al testo del bando per progetti innovativi nel settore aerospazio. Con la Determinazione n. C0328 del 16 febbraio 2010 viene modificato il testo dell’art. 3 nella parte “Settori di attività ammissibili” e sono ulteriormente prorogati i termini di presentazione delle proposte progettuali, stabiliti dall’art. 7, dell’Avviso Pubblico pubblicato sul BURL n. 46 suppl. 209 del 14/12/2009. EEA to improve data flows for GMES. Recently, on 12 February 2010, the European Environment Agency (EEA) announced that it had started coordinating data flows from ground, sea and air observations, which will be used for GMES services. In order to make the data accessible, EEA will develop an innovative and sustainable framework using existing mechanisms and capacities. The EEA has signed a EUR 3 million contract with the European Commission to coordinate in situ data flows over the next three years under the EU’s 7th Framework Programme. Conciliare lavoro e famiglia – il bando Flexicurity. Prende il via il bando sulla ‘Flexicurity di genere’ per il quale è stata impegnata la somma di 9 milioni e mezzo di euro. Si tratta di azioni che derivano dal Piano per l’occupazione femminile per il biennio 2009- 2010. L’avviso pubblico “Interventi in impresa volti a favorire la conciliazione tra vita familiare e vita lavorativa in un’ottica di flexicurity” è stato pubblicato sul Burl del 20 febbraio.
