On May 19th, 2011 at the Scuola Grande di San Rocco, in Venezia, Italy, the “2nd International Conference on interoperability” will be held .
The conference will focus on the impact of interoperability on first responders’ response, current preparedness, open issues and room for improvements, as well as the recent evolution of International, European and National applicable standards and protocols, up to the forthcoming publication of the Italian Fire Corps of Firemen profile of the Common Alerting Protocol.
Dr. Delprato, CEO of IES Solutions, will be participating, delivering a speech on the evolution of the JIXEL platform from the REACT project to its recent adoption at Italian national scale by the Italian Fire Corps of Firemen.
Dr. Marsella of the Italian National Corps of Firemen will report on the progress in adopting CAP-based solutions developed by IES Solutions for improving the interaction between deaf and hard-of-hearing citizens with 115 Emergency Services.
Dr. Cristaldi, CTO of IES Solutions, will also be participating, showcasing the company’s recent developments in implementing CAP-based applications on mobile devices.
