IES Solutions has successfully concluded the process of becoming a G-Cloud 6 Services supplier. G-Cloud 6 is an UK Government initiative targeted at easing procurement, by public sector bodies, of Cloud based ICT services. IES Solutions’ suite of Cloud based services for incidents, resources management and data exchange JIXEL, is now available on the Digital Marketplace, and can be purchased using the SaaS (Software as a Service) provisioning model. JIXEL can be used for enabling interoperability between emergency services, environmental agencies, group of volunteers, Local Resiliency Forums, and in general all authorities dealing with emergencies and related activities within the UK. In addition, the “Planning for Interoperability in the Emergency Sector” (PIES) Specialist Cloud Services, offered by IES Solutions within the same G-Cloud 6 framework, provides support and consultancy for planning the realisation of Cloud applications, targeted to improving interoperability between organisations involved in the Emergency Management Sector.
