The Kick-off meeting of the ARESIBO project took place in Catania, on 30th and 31st of May, 2019.
ARESIBO has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 833805, on the topic about “Technologies to enhance border and external security”. ARESIBO aims at improving the efficiency of current border security and surveillance systems and activities, by providing advanced technological solutions for information interoperability, improved situation awareness through the integration of data from sensors processing, risks analysis and forecasting. The integrated technological solution will include Augmented Reality techniques to support the activities of control room and on field operators.
In ARESIBO, IES will work together with 19 partners from 11 countries, mainly as responsible of the Decision Support Tool and leader of the Dissemination and Exploitation activities.
