IES will attend the First 2017 PSCE (Public Safety Communication Europe) Conference that will be held in Munich on 4 and 5 May. The PSCE Conference is a bi-annual event that gathers stakeholders of the emergency communication domain from all Europe.
Standardisation Workshop
On 3 May, PSCE and the EPISECC project will also organise a workshop on standardisation in the premises of the German Red Cross in Munich. The workshop will be focused on the importance for EU projects to put more efforts on standardisation activities in order to bring innovation adapted to the fast-changing market.
EU projects (EPISECC, BroadMap) will discuss their personal experience with standardisation bodies (ETSI, CEN) and explain the outcomes of their work while industrials, researchers, European bodies (DG HOME) and national authorities will have the opportunity to exchange their point of views and discuss future perspectives.
Uberto Delprato, CEO of IES Solutions, will hold a speech at the Workshop, during the session on lessons learnt by EU projects, experiences with standardisation bodies and the possible pitfalls.
