ESENet workshop in Brussels

It’s ongoing in Brussels the ESENet workshop on the communication from Authorities to Citizens (A2C).


115-for-deaf, a video of the exercise at TWIST 2013

115-for-deaf system, implemented by IES Solutions, which allows deaf people to reach the 115 service, was used during Twist (Tidal Wave in Southern Tyrrhenian Sea), the international exercise on the tsunami risk, where a deaf person trapped inside the Amalfi town hall offices contacted, via 115-for-deaf, the Fire Brigades, which reached the trapped person and put it to safety.


IES at the Future Security Conference 2014

IES Solutions will take part to the Future Security Conference 2014 that will take place on 16-18 September in Berlin, Germany. IES Solutions CEO, eng. Uberto Delprato, will take part to the conference with a speech titled 'ESENet: An outlook for the future of Emergency Services in Europe'.


IES at the 5th JRC ECML Workshop

The 5th JRC ECML workshop on situation awareness and incident management systems will take place in the European Crisis Management Laboratory (ECML) of the European Commission Joint Research Centre in Ispra, Italy, on 16-18 June 2014.


IES at the Heli4Rescue final workshop

The project is organising its final Meeting on 10-11 June 2014 in Brussels, Belgium. Based on the work done in 18 months of work, there will room for discussing the developed roadmaps for an effective implementation of the analysed solutions and for a common European approach. Participants from several Emergency management organisation will be attending.


EPISECC kick-off meeting

EPISECC project has officially started. The kick-off meeting will be take place on 3-5 June 2014 at Vienna (Austria).


ESENet workshop on the communication from Authorities to Citizens

The workshop on the communication from Authorities to Citizens (A2C) is planned for 3-5 June 2014 in Brussels. IES at the FEU meeting

IES Solutions CEO, eng. Uberto Delprato, will present the results of the ESENet project at the periodical FEU (Federation of the European Union Fire Officer Associations) meeting that will take place on 22nd-24th May in Westport, Ireland. He will also talk about EmerGent and EPISEC projects.


IES Solutions at the next PSCE conference

IES Solutions will take part to the periodical PSCE (Public Safety Communication Europe) meeting that will take place on 20th-21st May in Gothenburg, Sweden. IES Solutions CEO, eng. Uberto Delprato, will take part to the conference as chairman of the roundtable on interoperability.

From 15 to 18 May the Emergency Expo 2014 will take place in Latina. IES Solutions CEO, eng. Uberto Delprato, will take part to the conference, organized by the 118 service of Lazio and focused on the innovations in Emergency Medicine, as speaker on behalf of EENA.


REFIRE used for a fire drill at the Biomedical Campus in Rome

Yesterday, a fire drill organized by the Fire Brigade took place in Rome at the Biomedical Campus.The fire drill preceded the conference 'Sicurezza partecipata in Sanità' focused on the innovations in safety and fire prevention as well as on the results of the European project REFIRE (REference implementation of interoperable indoor location & communication systems for First Responders) for the indoor localization in emergency situations.


EmerGent Kick-off meeting

EmerGent project has officially started on 1th April 2014. The kick-off meeting will be take place on 15-17 April 2014 in Paderborn.
